What is the SpartanLync "ECU Device ID" Number? Why is it Important in SpartanLync Tools?

The SpartanLync "ECU Device ID" Number is a 6-digit combination of letters and numbers printed on the outside cover of every SpartanLync ECU device plugged into a Geotab GO device in a customer vehicle.

This ECU Device ID is communicated to Geotab every time the Vehicle Ignition occurs. Therefore seeing this ID in SpartanLync Tools indicates a working SpartanLync / Geotab Installation and connection AFTER turning on vehicle ignition and waiting max 5 minutes before using refreshing the SpartanLync Tools App.
