SpartanLync ECU GEN 3 Freightliner Firmware Information

The SpartanLync GEN 3 ECU for Freightliner is the central electronic control unit for communication with SpartanLync TPMS sensors in a vehicle.

This page allows Freightliner service agents to perform a software update to the controlling firmware in these ECU devices.

Note: This ECU Firmware does not support SpartanLync TempTrac sensors

The SpartanLync ECU Firmware Flashing requires the following

Windows Computer / Laptop USB connected to a NexiQ 2 adapter
9-pin Deutsch Adapter cable (Standard 1 meter cable for use with USB-Link 2) plugged into Vehicle CAN
Spartanlync ECU plugged into the same Vehicle CAN as NexiQ 2 adapter
Vehicle turned on

You should only update the ECU if it meets the following requirements

Download latest Firmware and the Windows Flash Utility (Installation and Flashing instructions included)
